Howdy folks! 😊
When it comes to salads, Coleslaw is probably the most well known salad in these parts. Goes perfectly with BBQ’s, and anytime you have a large group of people to feed. #Weddings 🤭
And also at most dinner tables…it is the go-to salad 90% of the time. See how boring that can get really quickly?🤦🏽♀️.
So to bring this old favorite back to life….instead of just going for the basic cabbage and mayonnaise combo…we add a few little bits to bring some interest to this salad. Like fresh herbs, seasoned salt, and mustard. 👌🏾
If you’re ready to break with the mold, here’s the recipe below :

minutesIngredients
1/2 Green/White Cabbage
1/2 Purple Cabbage
3 Medium Corrots
1/2 Cup Mayonnaise
11/2 Tablespoons Mustard sauce
1 Teaspoon Seasoned Salt
1/4 Teaspoon Black Pepper

1/2 cup, finely chopped Parsley
Directions
- Here’s a shot of some of the ingredients you’ll need. 😊
- If you can shred the cabbage and carrots to this consistency by using just a knife, please go ahead and do it. Otherwise, I recommend you use a grater. 😊
- Next, get the dressing ready by mixing the Mayonnaise with all the other ingredients. Mustard, seasoned salt and pepper. 😊
- Should look like this when you’re done. Delicious! 👌🏾
- Finely chop the Parsley as well. 😊
- Add everything to your mixing bowl and combine well. 😊
- Transfer to your serving bowl – and serve! 😊
- Had mine with some BBQ’d Chicken and T-Bone Steaks 👌🏾
