Howdy folks! 😊
Weekends and smoothies just go together! 😊 – And I often start my weekends with a smoothie, or experimenting with different fruit and vegetables to discover new combinations. You can’t go wrong really (most of the time) cos you will ultimately end up with the nutrients in your body, 😉
This week – with the Raspberries currently in season – A Raspberry smoothie was inevitable! 😊
Coupled with Apples and Yogurt – this combination works on so many levels and hits the right notes. 👌🏾 I love all the berry ones I’ve done in the past, but this one is effortlessly Delicious! 😋
So without further ado, here’s the recipe below for your experimentation and enjoyment! 😊 :

minutesIngredients
500g Raspberries
1 red/ Apple
1 ripe Banana
250 ml Natural Plain Yogurt
250ml Apple Juice
2 Tablespoons Honey
Directions
- Here’s a pic of some of the ingredients that will go nto the smoothie. Raspberries, Banana, Apple, and Yogurt. 😊
- Start by cutting the apple into tiny cubes, and slicing through the Banana as well. That’s the apple juice on the side – in my measuring cup. 😊
- Add the apple juice to the blender, with the banana and apple cubes. Blend this well on high speed, for about 5 minutes. 😊
- To the apple mixture, add the yogurt, and Raspberries. Blend until smooth. About 3 minutes. 😊
- Taste for Sweetness, and then add the Honey if required. Blend for 2 minutes and then – you’re done! 😊
- Serve, and garnish with leftover berries and mint. Enjoy! 😋
